오렌지카운티에 소재한 오렌지중앙교회(담임목사 유원선)가 2026년 장학생(2026 OKEC Scholarship)을 모집합니다.

지난 2010년부터 꾸준히 장학사역을 감당해온 오렌지중앙교회는 올해도 총 12명의 학생을 선발해 각 1,000불씩 장학금을 전달할 예정입니다.

올해로 창립 47주년을 맞은 오렌지중앙교회(미주성결교회)는 2010년 이후 지금까지 140여명의 학생들에게 총 15만 달러 가량의 장학금을 전달했습니다.

미국에 소재한 2~4년제 대학을 다니는 일반 전공자 혹은 신학 대학원에서 M.div 과정을 하고 있는 신학생이 신청할 수 있으며, 교회에서 구성한 7명의 장학 위원회(위원장 김종곤 장로)에서 심사하여 장학생을 선정합니다.

제출 서류는 장학금 신청서(구글폼/교회홈페이지 방문), 신앙 간증과 장래 희망을 포함한 자기소개서(1~2장/한글 또는 영어로), 추천서 2부(목회자추천서, 교수추천서), 성적증명서이며, 신청 및 서류 제출은 7/19(주일)까지입니다.

The Orange Korean Evangelical Church (Senior Pastor, Wonsun Ryu) in Westminster, Orange County, is now accepting applications for the 2026 scholarship program.

OKEC has been faithfully administering its scholarship ministry since 2010. This year, we will select 12 students to receive $1,000 scholarships each.

Celebrating its 47th anniversary this year, OKEC (Korean Evangelical Church of America) has awarded approximately $150,000 in scholarships to 140 students since 2010.

This scholarship ministry was established to nurture Christian leaders for the next generation and to support young adults who are pioneering their lives through faith. The program was founded in memory of the late Deaconess Won Sun-ae, whose heart for serving others became the seed for this ministry.

Although the financial support may seem modest, our church carries out this ministry each year with prayer, hoping to provide comfort and encouragement to young people navigating these challenging times.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Full-time undergraduate students attending 2-4 year U.S. colleges (all majors)

- Full-time graduate students currently pursuing an M.Div degree

Scholarship recipients are selected through a comprehensive review process conducted by a 7-member scholarship committee chaired by Elder Chongkon Kim.

Required Documents:

- Personal statement including testimony of faith and career goals (1-2 pages, Korean or English)

- Two recommendation letters (one from a pastor, one from a professor)

- Transcript
