Youth Worship Director

Responsibilities

• Works/submits under the vision & direction of the Senior Associate Youth Pastor

• Available to serve the youth in worship & media on Fridays - Sundays

• Oversees the Sunday Services (9:30AM + 11:15AM)

• Oversees the Volunteers involved in the Worship Services. This includes:

  • Praise Team 

    • (ideally, has the ability to lead praise)

    • Training students & volunteers in the musical aspect

    • Providing care for the students

  • Tech Team

    • Training students & volunteers in the AV/Lighting systems

    • Providing care for the students

• Oversees the Lighting/AV portion of the Worship Service. This includes:

  • Maintaining the equipments involved

  • Improving upon the worship experience

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Proficiency in musicianship and leading worship

  • Evidence of genuine passion and commitment for Jesus

  • Be able to strategically plan structures and implement them

  • Be able to work in team settings, especially in context with youth students

  • Competent or can gain quick-competence in A/V equipment, Digital Software

  • Preferred, not required: Currently pursuing or a graduate of Masters in Ministry Leadership or Divinity
