Seeking Children Ministry Pastor (1st Grade to 5th Grade)

Position

San Diego Calvary Korean Church Education Department is seeking a part-time/half-time/full-time children’s ministry pastor (Grades 1-5) who can work within the overall church’s vision statement with the supervision of the Education Director to nurture children, equip teachers and educate parents for raising lifelong disciples of Jesus. 

Responsibilities

Oversee, grow & coordinate all aspects of the children’s ministry which includes: 

1)Preach and lead weekly Sunday worship services including small groups & bible study

2)Lead Friday Night AWANA program

3)Attend weekly meetings  

4)Coordinate seasonal events (VBS, Holy Win, Children’s Day, graduation, etc.)

5)Communication & interaction with Korean parents to assist their children’s spiritual growth

Qualifications

-A minister with the experience of being born again through the Word and the Holy Spirit.

-Currently enrolled in or graduated from an accredited seminary (M.Div or M.A students or higher)

-A servant leader with a heart for the children’s ministry in a Korean American church

-Fluent in English (bilingual in Korean is preferred)

-Strong communication & organizational skills to maintain a healthy relationship with pastors, lay leaders and parents in a Korean-American church context. 

-Holistic and a family-centered ministry mindset (parents are a crucial part of the ministry)

샌디에고 갈보리 장로교회에서 part-time, half-time or full-time 교육부 초등부 사역자를 구인합니다. 본 교회의 초등부 사역자는 교육부 디렉터의 인도 하에 선생님들과 협력하고 훈련하며, 학부모님들과 소통하고 교육하며, 초등학생들을 말씀과 사랑으로 예수님의 참된 제자들로 양육해주실 분을 찾습니다.

사역:

-주일 예배 말씀 & 성경공부 섬김 & 금요일 AWANA 프로그램 담당

-매주 토요일 교육위원회 회의 참석 & 매주 사역자 회의 참석

-각 초등부 행사 준비 및 진행 (VBS, 홀리윈, 어린이날 행사, 졸업식, 등등)

-초등부 선생님들, 봉사자들 훈련 및 양육

-PTA 운영으로 부모들과 의 원활한 소통과 사역 참여를 통해 아이들가 정에서의 영적 성자도움

자격

-말씀과 성령으로 Born again한 체험이 있는 사역자

-Currently or graduated 정규신학대학원(Accredited)을 졸업하신 분 (M.Div. or M.A or higher)

-한국 이민교회에 대한 heart가 있으시는 분 & 어린이를 사랑하는 마음을 가진 사역자

-유창한 영어구사하시고, 한국어까지 이중으로 하실 수 있는 분을 선호합니다.

-미국 거주 및 취업에 결격 사유가 없으신 분

-초등부 사역에 소명과 경험이 있는 분 & 영적이고 가족중심의 중요케 하는 mindset 

-커뮤니케이션 및 조직 skill이 강점이신분
