Dongshin Church of Southern California, a member of the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (KPCA), is a rapidly growing church in Southern California known for its gospel-centered and Spirit-filled preaching and worship. We are seeking a joyful and faithful ministry partner who will serve together with us in building God’s Kingdom and His church.

1. Position

Part-Time Lower Elementray Ministry Pastor 

2. Ministry Responsibilities and Schedule

A. Assist in leading the children’s worship service on Wednesdays

    (7:20 PM – 8:40 PM, combined with the elementary department)

B. Attend Saturday pastoral staff meetings and prepare for Sunday ministry

C. Lead Sunday worship services (9:30 AM and 11:20 AM)

D. Assist in planning and carrying out annual education ministry events, including:
     - May special events

     - June VBS (Vacation Bible School)

     - October Hallelujah Night

     - Other seasonal and church calendar events

3. Qualifications

A. Currently enrolled in or graduated from an accredited seminary, with a sound evangelical theological background

B. Previous experience in children’s ministry (elementary age group preferred)

C. Fluent in English preaching and communication (Bilingual in Korean and English preferred)

4. Required Application Materials

     - Testimony of faith

     - Ministry experience

     - Family introduction

C. Two sermon video links recorded within the past 6 months

D. Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of two references

2. 사역 시간 및 내용

  A. 수요일 저녁(7:20-8:40PM) 어린이 예배 협력 인도(초등부와 연합)

  B. 토요일 교역자 미팅 및 주일사역 준비

  C. 주일 예배 인도(9:30AM, 11:20AM) 

  D. 교육부 연간 사역 협력 준비 및 진행(5월 행사, 6월 VBS, 10월 할렐루야나잇 및 절기 행사 등)

3. 지원 자격 

  A. 현재 신학교 재학중이거나 졸업하신 분, 건전한 복음주의 신학을 가진 분
  B. 교육부 사역(유년부) 경험이 있으신 분
  C. 영어 설교와 소통에 자유로우신 분(한국어와 영어 이중언어)

  B. 자기 소개서 (신앙고백, 사역경험, 가족소개 포함)
  C. 최근 6개월 이내 설교 영상 링크 (2편)
