Position Summary

The Part-Time Youth Pastor will provide spiritual leadership and care to the youth of the church. This role focuses on teaching Scripture, building relationships with students, and partnering with parents and church leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sunday Worship

-Occasionally preside or preach at Sunday youth worship service.

-Oversee the order of worship.

-Connect with students before/after service.

2. Administration

-Communicate announcements with parents and students via newsletters or social media platforms.

-Coordinate Sunday School teachers and communicate with parent volunteers.

-Prepare Sunday announcement slides.

3. Pastoral Care

-Build relationships with students through intentional check-ins.

-Provide basic pastoral care such as encouragement, prayers, spiritual guidance.

-Meet with students one-on-one as needed.

4. Events

-Help plan special youth events such as retreats or seasonal events.

-Attend whole-church events involving youth such as VBS or joint worship.

-Support administrative tasks related to special events.
