Full-time Ministry Opportunity

 

Gardena Presbyterian Church, located in Gardena California, is currently looking for a full-time English Ministry pastor who will minister to Korean-American adult congregation. 

 

Job Title: English Ministry Full-time Pastor

 

Responsibilities

1.     Leading the Service: Engage the congregation by delivering insightful sermons grounded in robust Reformed theology and faithfully administer sacraments such as baptism and communion.

2.     Pastoral Care: Offer compassionate pastoral care to individuals and families, nurturing their spiritual well-being and supporting them through life’s challenges.

3.     Congregational Leadership: Work collaboratively with church leaders and committees to cultivate unity, spiritual growth, and vitality in accordance with biblical principles, encompassing both the English and Korean-speaking ministries.

4.     Discipleship: Foster spiritual growth and discipleship by providing rich educational opportunities through teaching, small group interactions, and various other ministry activities.

 

Qualifications

1.     M.Div Degree

2.     Reformed Affiliation (our church is part of PCA – Presbyterian Church in America)

3.     Teaching & Pastoral Skills

4.     Ethical Conduct

Salary & Benefits 

-         50,000-60,000 a year.

-         Insurance, gas, and cellphone
