Orange Canaan Presbyterian Church (OCPC) is looking for a pastor or pastoral intern to teach and lead elementary and middle school students (grades 1-8). We are a Korean-immigrant church with a growing Education Department. We currently have about 10 students in the Children’s Ministry who are in need of a loving leader!

Responsibilities:

• Weekly preaching and teaching

o Sunday worship services

o Sunday small group

o Wednesday Bible study

• Summertime: VBS or retreat

• Special Performances: Resurrection Day, Christmas

• Plan occasional recreational days for students

• Attend the E.M. 1st service every Sunday @ 9 A.M.

• Attend monthly Education Department staff meetings

• Serve during joint worship services with the K.M., depending on gifting (a few times a

year)

• Serve in joint Edu. Dept. events (a few times a year)

Qualifications:

• A godly Christian living a Christ-centered lifestyle

• Passionate about proclaiming the Gospel to young students

• Loves kids

• Takes initiative

• Has a teachable heart

• Team player

• Graduated from or presently attending theological seminary (preferred)

• Fluent in English (bilingual in Korean is a plus, but not necessary)

• Pass LiveScan background check

Salary:

• Will start on probationary status and salary(2,000)
