About Korean Church of Dallas & Life & Fruit English Ministry

Korean Church of Dallas (KCD), founded in 1966, will joyfully celebrate its 60th

anniversary in 2026. As part of the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (KPCA), KCD

planted Life & Fruit English Ministry (EM) in 2009 with a vision to cultivate a

gospel-centered community for the next generation.

Life & Fruit is a warm and growing congregation of around 50 members, with Sunday

attendance between 45–60. Our members include college students, singles, young

families, and married couples with children.

Our mission is to glorify God by loving God, loving people, and making disciples. We are a community devoted to God’s Word, passionate about Christ-centered relationships, and deeply committed to missions both local and global. Previous pastors have served as missionaries, and that heart continues to shape who we are.

We are seeking a pastor who loves Christ, loves people, and desires to shepherd and

grow with us for the glory of God.

Position Summary

The English Ministry Lead Pastor will shepherd the congregation through faithful

preaching, teaching, and pastoral care. This pastor will equip believers for ministry,

develop ministry leaders, and prayerfully cast vision for the church’s growth and mission. The pastor will also partner with the Korean Ministry (KM) pastoral team and leadership to serve together as one church body.

Qualifications

Faith in Christ and biblical qualifications of an elder/pastor (1 Tim. 3; Titus 1; 1 Pet. 5)

M.Div. (or equivalent) from an accredited seminary

Ordained or willing to be ordained under KPCA

Minimum 3 years of ministry experience (recent grads with experience considered)

Doctrinally sound and clear in preaching and teaching

Relationally mature; able to foster unity and healthy team dynamics

Collaborative with KM leadership (bilingual preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

Preach weekly and lead special services

Provide pastoral care and discipleship

Lead and develop ministry leaders and small group leaders

Partner with Korean Ministry (KM) staff and education department

Cast and communicate vision for spiritual growth and mission

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
