New Jersey Gospel Mission Church (NJ GMC) is a non-denominational church located in Fairfield, NJ. Established on May 23, 2021, we recently celebrated 4 years of God’s faithfulness. Our name reflects our mission: to proclaim the true Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the Word of God and to live missionally—starting from our homes to our communities, nation, and to the ends of the earth.

We utilize QTin (https://www.qtin.org) church-wide to encourage unity in Spirit and Truth and to promote consistent family worship at home.

1.  Position: Youth Pastor

 (GMY – Gospel Mission Youth) 

- Start Date: September 2025

- Youth Group Size: 50+ students (6th–12th grade) for Sunday Worship, 30+ on Friday Nights

- Position Type: Full-time or Part-time

- Also Open to: Young married couple serving as part-time Youth Pastors

2.  Qualifications 

- A strong personal devotional life centered on prayer and the Word of God

- A clear passion and calling for next-generation ministry

- Spirit-filled and mission-minded, with a heart to disciple youth to live for God’s Kingdom and righteousness

- Graduate of an accredited seminary or currently enrolled in seminary

- Fluency in English (Bilingual or conversational Korean preferred)

- Prior experience in youth ministry

- Team player who values church leadership structure and collaboration

- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)

3.  Key Responsibilities

✅ Sunday Worship (GMY): 

- Prepare and preach weekly messages based on QTin curriculum

- Lead and mentor youth leaders and Sunday School teachers

- Oversee and support youth small groups and praise team

- Build relationships with students and plan seasonal youth events 

✅ Friday Night Worship: 

- Lead worship and deliver the Word

- Organize fellowship activities to encourage bonding and fun

- Provide ongoing training and support to youth leaders

- Engage and communicate with youth parents (PTO, counseling, meet-and-greets, etc.) 

✅ Additional Ministry: 

- Provide pastoral counseling to students and families as needed

- Plan and lead Summer/Winter retreats and mission trips

- Attend Sunday Main Worship and weekly staff meetings

- Maintain a personal devotional life using QTin

- Attend Early Morning Prayer at least twice a week

- Report and Collaborate with the Senior Pastor

4.  Compensation & Benefits
