Church for All Nations (CFAN) seeks a part-time youth pastor to shepherd around 20 youth group members ranging from 7th to 12th grade. We seek a pastor who will inspire our congregation through a humble and passionate love for Christ, a life of integrity, gospel-centered and engaging teaching, and relational discipleship (Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9;Galatians 5:16-24). Individuals with experience fostering an intergenerational ministry and a heart for community outreach are encouraged to apply. This position will work particularly closely with CFAN's EM Pastor, Youth Staff, EM Leadership Team, and church pastoral team.


Church Information:

CFAN is a 20-year old church with a strong missions and discipleship focus. It is part of the Korean Capital Presbytery under the Presbyterian Church in America. CFANs KM worship services average about 120 attendees and its English Congregation worship service averages about 50 attendees. English-speaking congregants from youth to adults worship together in one joint intergenerational service.


Main Responsibilities:

- Prayerfully steer the youth, ensuring it aligns with the vision of the church as a whole. Maintain

devotional and prayer life necessary to be a godly leader.

- Preach gospel-centered, expository sermons during Sunday services once a month

Plan and organize youth events, including Friday Night Fellowship and Sunday Bible Study.

Presence required weekly on Fridays and Sundays, as well as special events as needed.

Weekly Ministry Report for pastoral staff meetings.

EM leadership meeting participation.

Oversee sign up, collection, and management of forms, required documents, and payments for

all events

- Communicate and coordinate with youth PTA

- Meet with students for shepherding as needed.

- Train and equip youth staff and student council

- Recruit and train volunteers

Lead monthly youth staff meetings

- Assist in planning and organizing retreats, mission trips, and other special events


Requirements:

Candidate must be fluent in English and have previous experience working in student ministries

whether paid or volunteer. Applicants should either have obtained or be pursuing a seminary

degree, and must align with the theology of the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America).


Preferred:

Conversational Korean and knowledge of Korean culture.


Salary & Benefits:

The salary for this position is $2000 per month, and a health insurance stipend is provided monthly. Other benefits include one week of work PTO in the first year and two weeks starting in the second year, as well as support for one professional development conference per year.
