Position Overview: Associate Pastor

Forest Community Church is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and spiritually grounded Associate Pastor to join our pastoral team. The Associate Pastor will play a key role in supporting the Senior Pastor (Paul Kim) by guiding the spiritual life of the church, offering pastoral care, and contributing significantly to the growth and development of our House Church ministry. The ideal candidate will be a strong servant-leader with a heart for discipleship and a passion for serving individuals and families across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Possess a deep understanding of the Bible and the Grace of God, with particular appreciation for the Nicene-Constantinopolitan faith (325-381).

Exhibit a willingness to serve with humility and passion in both corporate ministry settings and our House Church Ministry.

Understand, support, and actively foster the values of Forest Community Church.

Ability to effectively support and work closely with our Senior Pastor, Paul Kim, in fulfilling his vision through dedicated ministry and pastoral duties.

Qualifications:

Master of Divinity (MDiv) or equivalent from an accredited theological seminary is preferred.

Proven experience in preaching expository sermons or delivering theological teachings.

U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency Card required at the time of application.
