시詩Poem 티끌 하나

몇억 년 전부터

시작된 너의 발걸음

멀고 먼 길

되돌아 태초의

모습으로

너와 나의 사랑

숨겨진 아픈 마음

그 속에서 숨 쉬고

바람이 분다

흩어지는 가루

하나의 티끌

이제는

아픈 마음 저리하고

자유롭게 날아다니는

너를 본다

먹구름 뒤덮힌 밤하늘

그림자도 보이지 않는 캄캄한 골목길,

바람에 부딪히는 작은 잎새 소리에

두려움 가득 움츠려 들며 걸어가다

머리 위 바로 앞에서

일직선으로 이어진 골목길,

왼쪽 골목으로 들어가면 사라지거나

이별을 고할 때가 오리라는 생각은 잠시,

여전히 등 뒤에서 더욱 가까이

너와 같은 사람이 되고 싶구나

지구 어느 곳에서나 밤이 되면 나타나

빛을 비추며 같이 걸어가는

항시 옆에서 동행하는 너

각도와 거리까지 계산하여

따라붙게 만든 너를 올려다 보며

또 하루를 가슴에 묻는다

김명수 작가는 시인이며, 수필가, 소설가이다. 시적 정서로 풀어가는 수필의 숲과 조각된 언어로 전개 되는 소설의 시공간을 빈틈없이 가득메운다. 시인의 시선은 단순하거나 평이하지 않다. ‘티끌하나’에서 가슴저리는 사랑을 노래하고 ‘달과의 동행‘은 마지막 까지 곁에 머물 인간애를 호소한다. 최근 아마존을 통해 출판된 영문소설 ‘The Turtle and I’는 한국전쟁 후 풍경을 미국에 살고 있는 주인공의 삶에 접목시켜 고향의 서정을 근본적이며 원초적인 인간의 귀향본능에 기대고 있다. 아무쪼록 김명수 작가의 작품세계가 더 많은 독자들에게 감흥을 주고 삶의 지표가 되기를 바라는 마음이 간절하다.

백승철 목사는 고려신학대학원, ORU에서 박사학위, 캘리포니아 브레아(Brea)에 위치한 <사모하는교회 Epipodo Christian Church>의 담임목회자이며 교수, 시인, 문학평론가, 칼럼니스트, 에피포도예술과문학(Epipodo Art & Literature)의 대표이다. 다양한 장르의 출판된 저서로 25권 외, 다수가 있다. 에피포도(Epipodo)는 헬라어로 “사랑하다. 사모하다. 그리워하다”의 뜻이다.
