2002년부터 NSHSS(National Society of High School Scholars)는 미래의 리더가 되기 위해 준비하는 대학 진학 및 그 이후의 여정에서 젊은 학자들을 지원해 왔습니다. 알프레드 노벨(Alfred Nobel)의 조카가 공동 창립한 NSHSS는 학문적 성취와 세계 개선을 지원하려는 노벨상의 사명에 영감을 받았습니다. NSHSS는 회원들에게 장학금, 대학 박람회, 인턴십, 경력 및 리더십 기회, 파트너 할인 등을 제공함으로써 이러한 사명을 추구합니다.

NSHSS는 170개국 26,000개 이상의 고등학교에서 가장 높은 성취를 이룬 학생 장학생들을 인정하고 봉사하는 데 최선을 다하는 저명한 명예 학술협회입니다. NSHSS 장학생들은 가치 있는 자원에 대한 접근권과 고등학교, 대학, 직업에 걸쳐 2백만 명 이상의 뛰어난 동료 네트워크를 통해 학교, 직장 및 지역 사회에서 학문적 헌신과 뛰어난 리더십을 구현합니다.

NSHSS에서 제공하는 장학금의 종류는 다음과 같습니다. 

1. NSHSS Student Athlete Scholarship

Award: Ten (10) $2,000 awards

Eligibility: NSHSS rising high school members graduating in 2025, 2026, or 2027, and recently graduated 2024 seniors.

Closing date: SEP 19 2024

2. NSHSS Performing Arts: Theater Scholarship

Award: Three (3) $2,000 awards

Eligibility: Rising high school students graduating in 2025, 2026, 2027, and recently graduated 2024 seniors with a passion for theater and a 3.5 GPA or higher. 

Closing date: SEP 19 2024

3. NSHSS Performing Arts: Music Scholarship

Award: Three (3) $2,000 awards

Eligibility: Rising high school students graduating in 2025, 2026, 2027, and recently graduated 2024 seniors with a 3.5 GPA or higher. 

Closing date: SEP 19 2024

4. NSHSS Passion for Public Service Scholarship

Award: Five (5) $1,000 awards

Eligibility: High school and college students of all levels with a 3.5 GPA

Closing date: SEP 19 2024

5. NSHSS Foundation Logistics & Supply Chain Management Scholarship

Award: Two (2) $1,500 awards

Eligibility: Open to high school seniors and college students

Closing date: SEP 30 2024

6. NSHSS Diversity Scholarship

Award: Five (5) $2,000 awards

Eligibility: NSHSS members with the following high school graduation years: 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027

Closing date: OCT 03 2024

6. John Lewis Good Trouble Scholarship

Award: Three (3) $1,000 awards

Eligibility: NSHSS members in high school or college

Closing date: OCT 03 2024

7. NSHSS Foundation STEM Scholarship

Award: One (1) $1,000 award

Eligibility: Recently graduated seniors (Grad Year 2024) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated desire to major in or pursue a degree one of the following (or closely related) STEM disciplines:

Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering

Biosciences/Pre-med/health-related fields

Chemical Engineering

Chemistry

Civil Engineering

Cognitive, Neural, and Behavioral Sciences

Computer and Computational Sciences, including Statistics and Accounting

8. NSHSS Cybersecurity Excellence Scholarship

Award: Two (2) $1,500 awards

Eligibility: Open to high school seniors and college students

9. NSHSS Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Scholarship

Award: Three (3) $1,500 awards

Eligibility: Open to high school seniors and college students

Closing date: OCT 03 2024

10. The Claes Nobel Legacy Awards

Award: Five (5) $5,000 scholarships

Eligibility: High school seniors graduating in 2025 and current college freshmen (GY: 2024) who have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and who have demonstrated in an outstanding manner the values of NSHSS Co-founder Mr. Claes Nobel. College freshmen must be currently enrolled in an accredited university.

Closing date: OCT 10 2024

11. Greg Goff Leadership Scholarship

Award: Five (5) $2,000 awards

Eligibility: 2025 High school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Closing date: OCT 10 2024

12. NSHSS Nobel Academic Excellence Scholarship

Award: Top ten (10) winners will receive $5,000 scholarships, twenty (20) finalists will receive $1,000 scholarships

Eligibility: NSHSS Members who are rising high school juniors and seniors (GY: 2025 and 2026)

Closing date: OCT 31 2024

13. United Planet Merit Scholarships

Award: Please note there are 3 different scholarship opportunities: 

One full scholarship for any Short-Term Volunteer Abroad and Internship Abroad Quest within 1 to 3 weeks

Five $500 scholarships for any Short-Term (1 to 12 weeks) or Long-Term (6-month or one-year) Volunteer Abroad and Internship Abroad Quest 

Five $250 scholarships for any Virtual Quest program 

You may apply for one or all scholarships. However, you can only be awarded one of these scholarships.

Eligibility: NSHSS members age 16+
