미국 내 한국학교 또는 교육기관 소속 우수 교사 및 9~11학년 한국어 우수 학생을 대상으로 각 $1,000의 상금 및 증서를 수여합니다.

접수 기간은 2025년 5월 10일(토) ~ 6월 30일(월)이며, 시상식은 10월 4일(토) 오후 4시  

LA 옥스포드 팰리스 호텔에서 열립니다.

제출 서류는 신청서, 본인 소개서, 에세이, 지도자 추천서이며, 

이메일(klesapplication@gmail.com)로 접수합니다.

개요

미주 한국어 교육 장학재단은 한국어 교육 발전에 열정을 가진 우수한 학생들과 교사들에게 재정적 지원을 제공합니다. 본 장학금은 이 분야에서 뛰어난 성과를 인정하고 장려하기 위한 것입니다.

지원 자격

우수 학생:

한국어 교육 프로그램 또는 기관에 재학 중인 학생

미국 거주 5년 이상

현재 9~11학년에 재학 중인 학생

우수 교사:

미국 내 한국학교에서 현재 교육 중인 교사

최소 10년 이상의 교육 경력 보유

최근 5년간 수상 이력이 없는 교사

Notice: The 2025 scholarship application form has been updated. Please carefully review the information below and submit all required documents.

Overview 

The Korean Language Education Scholarship Foundation provides financial support to outstanding students and teachers who are passionate about advancing Korean language education. Our scholarships recognize and encourage excellence in this field.

Eligibility Criteria

Outstanding Students:

Enrolled in a Korean language program or institution.

Residing in the U.S. for over five years.

Currently in grades 9 through 11.

Outstanding Teachers:

Currently teaching at a Korean school in the U.S.

Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience.

No awards received in the past five years.

Application Process

Complete the scholarship application form.

Submit the required documents:

- Application Form

- Recommendation Letter

- Personal Statement

- Essay (Choose one topic):

A Memorable Korean Language Class

How Learning Korean Boosted My Self-Esteem

A Story About My Unique Family

All documents must be submitted to klesapplication@gmail.com by June 30, 2025.

Award Details

Teachers:  A total of 0 recipients will be awarded a $1,000 prize and a commemorative plaque.

Students:A total of 00 recipients will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and a certificate.

Important Dates

Application Deadline: June 30, 2025

Results Announcement: Individual notifications will be sent on Friday, August 15.

Award Ceremony: October 4, 2025
