Student(Youth & College) Pastor

New Life Baptist Church of Atlanta(NLBCA) in Suwanee, GA seeks a full-time Student Pastor to shepherd 

and teach our youth(6-12th) and college students.

We are seeking someone who:

• Loves Jesus and His church and walks faithfully in dependence on God

• Enjoys talking with and journeying alongside youth and college as they live in the unique crossroads of youth/adolescence entering adulthood

• Is currently enrolled as a student or has completed theological training at an accredited seminary or 

bible college with a commitment to SBC Baptist Faith & Message 2000

• Has experience navigating the social and cultural dynamics of a setting i.e. Korean-American church that 

has at least 2 languages spoken under one roof

• Has experience leading and teaching the Bible in both small and large group settings

• Demonstrates social and cultural intelligence and the ability to navigate well among different social 

and cultural settings

• Korean language skills preferred, but not required.

• U.S. citizen/permanent resident or eligible to legally work in the U.S.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preside over Sunday worship through the preaching of God’s word, guiding general worship.

• Plan, prepare and lead youth Friday night meetings.

• Plan and coordinate special ministry events e.g. Summer Retreat, 

Short term mission, monthly outing, and etc.

• Provide leadership to overall youth and college ministry

• Participate in weekly staff meeting

• Communicate effectively with youth, college, and parents

• Reports directly to the Senior Pastor
